Annual Technology Symposium
TYS Industrial Association (Abbreviated as TYS )
It was jointly established by leaders of the machine tool and manufacturing industries in central Taiwan, with Huang Yao-te, general manager of Te-Ta Machinery, the largest tool magazine manufacturer, serving as the founding chairman, and Chen Cheng-hung, general manager of Ju-Hung Green Energy, serving as the founding secretary-general. To date, it has more than 300 participating companies, mostly located in central Taiwan, forming a cluster. Among them are many world-renowned hidden champions and long-established machine tool manufacturers. Through years of efforts, it has received support and recognition from government organizations and industries, including visits from President Tsai Ing-wen, the Premier, the Minister of Economic Affairs, and the heads of special municipalities.

Our association previously collaborated with the Taichung City Government to establish Taiwan's first "Aerospace Industry Cluster," echoing the government's five major innovative industry initiatives. Our association's involvement includes two initiatives: smart machinery and aerospace technology. Our mission is to integrate the robust supply chain systems of SMEs, enabling them to expand internationally, achieve greater success, and ultimately drive economic development.

Integrating industry resources to promote intelligent manufacturing and industrial upgrading

Taiwan's greatest pride lies in its self-developed industrial system, encompassing technological advancement, R&D, integration, and a complete upstream and downstream supply chain. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are the backbone of this system. In recent years, our company has continuously invested in aerospace parts manufacturing and smart manufacturing, and is currently moving towards digital transformation. We have also co-organized numerous forums and exhibitions with the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), and the Taichung City Government, aiming to leverage the cumulative effect to gradually drive economic growth and enhance Taiwan's global standing.

In addition, our association also...The M-team alliance, Cathay United Bank, E.SUN Bank, and the 18 major industry associations in Taichung City jointly signed a "Memorandum of Understanding on Preferential Industrial Loans".The aim is to leverage financial resources to help businesses enhance their ability to purchase equipment and machinery, accelerate capacity upgrades, and further promote the sustainable development of the entire industry.

TYS has entered its tenth year. The function of the organization is to unite the strength of everyone to achieve a common goal. We have a strong board of directors and a team of conveners who have made selfless contributions, enabling TYS to gain some recognition in society. Next, the association will actively transform itself into an organization that is tangible and impactful for manufacturers. Since our members are all high-quality manufacturers in the industry, what everyone values is lean production, trade orders, and excellent quality. Therefore, we will promote the Up model (B To B Team) unique to industry groups, so that everyone can gain tangible benefits and make TYS even more important.
Having weathered the Covid-19 outbreak, our association now faces a global economic recession. Given this volatile situation, Taiwan's manufacturing sector is among the first to be impacted and cannot escape unscathed. With global investment and consumption sluggish, we should be prepared for a conservative and long-term approach. While the global economic system is currently at a standstill, members can take a short break and prepare for the eventual economic recovery.

Looking back on TYS 's journey over the past ten years, it has grown from an unknown small association to a place that now brings together many capable and passionate industry elites from various regions. The association's leaders have selflessly dedicated their time and money to help organize many lectures and activities that benefit the industry, allowing members to absorb current industry trends; regular member tours and industry seminars allow members to get to know each other, understand each other, and share resources.

Through the annual processing competition, outstanding industry players can share and learn from each other, thereby enhancing the industry's hard power. In addition, the association also promotes the adoption of smart applications and management skills among its members, enabling them to consolidate both their hard and soft power and ensuring the continued inheritance and sustainable operation of excellent industries.
