LK Machinery was founded in Hong Kong in 1979 by Liu Xiangshang, who came from a middle-class Chinese family in Indonesia. At that time, he worked in a factory while studying. After seven years of hard work, he earned enough money, knowledge and experience to start LK Machinery in 1979.

In 1980, the company launched its first-generation hot chamber die casting machine, and in 1989, it launched its first-generation injection molding machine. At that time, the die casting machines imported from Japan, Germany and Italy were expensive, so LKK attracted customers with its advantages of high efficiency and low price, thus enhancing the brand of "Made in Hong Kong".

In the early 1980s, a Japanese-made machine cost the equivalent of a floor of a house, while the same machine produced by L.K. was priced at only 20-30% of the price of the Japanese machine. The group's goal at the time was to support the development of startups and jointly promote the progress of Hong Kong's industry.

LK's main products are cold and hot chamber die casting CNC machines and injection molding machines. After more than 40 years of continuous hard work and development, just as its founder Liu Xiangshang said, "Technology can be broken through, but innovation has no end." At present, LK has established multiple technology centers in various regions around the world, becoming one of the world's largest manufacturers of cold and hot chamber die casting machines. In terms of injection molding machine production, it also occupies an important position in the market.

We would like to thank Manager Zhou Yiqing of LKK for her rich video introduction on the history of the company and product descriptions, as well as for accompanying the members on a tour of the factory and providing explanations, which broadened everyone's horizons in another industry.
