Product Introduction

Primo LTS (Tool Length Setting System) is a single-axis tool setting system with several advantages:

The Primo LTS (Tool Length Setting System) can be used alone or in conjunction with the Primo Radio Part Setter and Primo Interface to create a fully automated setting system for your machine. The LTS operates independently of the Primo stored value system.

How does the Primo LTS (tool length setting system) work?

When the tool touches the probe, it triggers the Primo LTS (Tool Length Setting System). The trigger signal is transmitted to the machine tool controller via a hardware cable, which automatically calculates the tool length. Renishaw's GoProbe software provides a unique set of cycles for the Primo LTS to perform tool setting, broken tool detection, thermal compensation, and calibration checks.

The Primo LTS (tool length setting system) is designed to operate in machining environments, thus preventing chips or coolant from seeping in and avoiding accidental triggering due to impact or vibration.
