purpose of subsidy

To promote energy conservation and carbon reduction policies, the Ministry of Economic Affairs has accelerated the replacement of inefficient equipment with high-efficiency equipment, encouraging energy users to use high-efficiency equipment, thereby improving production efficiency and overall energy use efficiency, and driving the development of the domestic power and public utility equipment industry.

• A legal entity established and registered in accordance with the law.
• A public legal entity established and registered in accordance with the law.
• Medical institutions established with the approval of the competent authority.

Application period for subsidy

Subsidy period: The Energy Bureau will announce the period for purchasing subsidies and accepting applications annually based on the annual budget; when the budget funds are exhausted, the Energy Bureau may announce the early termination of the subsidy.
Step 1: The applicant purchases products that meet the subsidy requirements.

Step Two: Fill out the application form through the "Power and Utility Equipment Subsidy Product System" user portal.

• Apply for an account and password through the "Power and Utility Equipment Subsidy Product System" user interface.
• After the product is installed, fill in the application form in the system.

Step 3: Print the application form and submit other application documents for review.

• Print out the completed application form, the form that requires a color photo of the subsidized product and the location where the product is installed, and the specifications of the self-use declaration and commitment for the subsidized product that need to be stamped.
• The applicant should self-check the application form and review each required document in order.

Step 4: Send the application to the designated post office box within the application processing period.

• Applications must be submitted within the processing period, and the application date is determined by the postmark date on the day the documents are mailed.

Step 5: Disburse the subsidy

• Approved applications will be communicated to the manufacturer via email with the approved subsidy and funding documents.
• The manufacturer sent the stamped funding documents back to P.O. Box 008, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Hsinchu-Tung District.
• The wire transfer shall be made to the designated account of the financial institution in the applicant's name.
